EDUC 210 Knowing & Learning in Math & Science*

The goal of this course is to develop a powerful tool kit of approaches to knowing and learning in mathematics and science. Students are introduced to theories and principles of cognition and learning and research on learning, memory, individual development, motivation and intelligence. Students design lesson plans, instruction and assessment applying learning theory. Emphasis is in mathematics and science learning.
