The student will enhance proofreading skills and will develop copy editing techniques for printed documents.

IV. Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

Students will learn to identify common errors in writing. Students will become better copy editors using techniques learned in class. Students will demonstrate the ability to research information and compile it into a single paper.

V. Topical Outline (Course Content)

Students will complete weekly homework and chapter quizzes. Additionally students will write a weekly journal on an assigned color theory topic that will be compiled into a report.
