DIET 109 Analysis of Hydraulics*

Students will be taught the fundamentals of hydraulic theory and operation. This will include fluid analysis, use of schematics, and rebuilding hydraulic components. The students will disassemble, rebuild and adjust hydraulic cylinders, valves, and pumps. Electronic hydraulic control systems and computer control hydraulic systems will also be covered in this class. The students are taught the use of special testing equipment, the use of tools, and safe shop practices.
