The goal of this course is to study the devices and techniques used in poems and to write poetry.

Write imaginatively constructed poems. Provide constructive feedback on others’ poems. Revise your own poetry as part of the writing process. Practice various techniques, styles, forms, conventions of poetry. Practice a variety of voices to develop your own unique voice.
