WELD 130 Welding for Transportation Industry

This course is a general introduction to practical application of welding as it applies to transportation industries. This course will include welding aluminum and cast iron engine components, removal procedures for broken bolts and studs, mig and tig welding, oxyacetelene cutting, razing, plasma cutting. Instruction includes theory of mig and tig welding, machine setting welding polarities, and metallurgy.
