- Have every student gain more self-awareness of their skills and how they can manage their time on projects.
- To become a safe wood worker around self and others.
- To have students learn how to use woodworking equipment to achieve their desired projects goals.
- To complete at least two projects of your own and Learn Teamwork on group projects to learn to depend on one another for completion of work if time and projects are available.

An introduction to the basics of woodworking. Students will be shown safety on hand tools and power machinery. Techniques of woodworking will be demonstrated.
