The student will examine skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary tract, digestive, reproductive, lymphatic, immune, and neurological systems. Concurrent enrollment in VETT 102 is required.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Recognize and describe the anatomy and physiology of various animal species.
  • Recognize and describe the numerous functions of the following systems: skeletal, muscles, digestive (ruminant vs. non-ruminant), cardiovascular, respiratory, urogenital, immune, lymphatic, nervous, endocrine, reproductive and special senses.
