Program Overview:
This limited enrollment program provides the student with the skills needed to work on diesel powered equipment.

Program Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of the Diesel program, a student will be able to:
- Perform preventive maintenance duties on medium duty to class 8 trucks
- Perform short and full services
- Perform Dot inspections
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and be able to follow troubleshooting protocols with proper literature
- Diagnose fuel issues and rough run complaints
- Replace and diag clutches, brakes and rear end assemblies
- Demonstrate hands-on and written knowledge and be employable by performing all aspects of truck and diesel engine repair.
Program Requirements for Admission:
- All general education requirements must be met or instructor permission before entering the Diesel Technology Program.
- Take CSI Placement Exam.
- Program Application and Letter of Intent must be submitted to Program Advisor with CSI Placement Exam scores.
- Take CSI Placement Exam scores to program advisor for interpretation, personal interview and program acceptance.
- Pay first semester’s tuition and fees to secure a slot.
