		IV. Student Learning Outcomes
	
		Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to: 
			- Students will demonstrate appropriate safety practices
- Apply wellness knowledge and practice positive behavior growth using a minimum of three dimensions of wellness (Emotional, Environmental, Intellectual, Physical, Social, Spiritual and Financial)-Pick at least 3
- Understand the concept of wellness and be able to recognize the long term benefits of maintaining a high level of wellness for living in today’s world
- Students will understand and apply the Physical dimension of wellness through Pre and post testing Result comparison
- Students will understand and apply the Social dimension of wellness through participating with a partner and group multiple times during the semester
- Students will understand and apply the Intellectual dimension of wellness through sport psychology activities
 
		V. Topical Outline (Course Content)
	
		Baseball specific agility/speed drills, total body strength training and olympic weight lifting exercises. The course content is dependent upon the specific sport’s needs as determined by the strength and conditioning expert, head coach and athletic director. The daily workouts are designed to incorporate the most current strength and conditioning programs, to establish and employ rehabilitation for injured athletes along with a priority to prevent injury.
