This course explores basic drawing skills. Throughout the course a broad range of drawing materials and techniques will be introduced. Students will explore creative intent and participate in regular critiques.

  • Development of understanding of basic elements in drawing
  • Development of appreciation for the expressive/communicative power of drawing
  • Exposure to a variety of technical skills materials and methods

  • Speak about art and develop vocabulary with art terms
  • Students will be assessed with the use of an end of semester portfolio work
