- Apply basic stage makeup for a variety of performance spaces
- Understand and apply the concepts of makeup design based on theme, character, and design concepts
- Read and analyze scripts to create effective makeup design
- Write a makeup design concept prospectus
- Create a portfolio of work drawn from makeup design prospectus
