EDUC 202 Field Experience
This course provides students with an introductory field experience in an educational setting. Under the supervision of a Coordinating Teacher, students will observe classroom instruction, assist with basic instructional activities, and reflect on teaching practices. Through guided observations and structured discussions, students will begin to connect educational theory with classroom practice while developing an understanding of professional teaching standards.

IV. Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Describe teaching practices observed in the classroom and explain their impact on student learning.
- Assist with basic instructional activities under supervision while demonstrating professionalism and effective communication.
- Recognize and reflect on professional teaching standards, including ethical conduct, classroom management, and positive student interactions.
- Complete required background check and 16.5 hours of supervised field experience with satisfactory performance evaluations.
