Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate how the arts, as applied to theatre, reflect and shape humanity and the values of cultures;
  • Analyze major theatrical works from representative periods and movements.
  • Recognize and gain an understanding of how cultural diversity is reflected in the theater arts
  • Develop the skills to view and critically evaluate theatrical works and their contribution to the human experience
