AIRC 139 Heat Pumps
A study in general service and installation of heat pumps. Students will learn the refrigeration cycle as applied to heat pumps along with the electrical circuits and controls. Psychometrics of air will be studied along with processes of dehydration and humidification control. Cooling and heating loads will be calculated for proper application of heat pumps

A study in general service and installation of heat pumps. Students will learn the refrigeration cycle as applied to heat pumps along with the electrical circuits and controls. - Demonstrate a working knowledge of the electrical system of a Heat Pump system
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the basic components that make up a Heat Pump system
- Exhibit a working knowledge of refrigerant control devices used in Heat Pump system
