This course covers computer-based video editing technologies. Topics include creation of digital video productions for inclusion in multimedia and web applications, and creation of video productions using digital non-linear editing technologies.

Use Pre-production planning for efficient video production.
Identify the basic formats for documentaries and feature video. (Documentary project)
Use the behaviors necessary for a successful video producer.
Explain the basic format for a typical news segment using a green screen. (Newsroom project)
Utilize digital video editing software.
Accurately describe the activities and purpose of pre-production, production, and post-production phases of media project development.
