III. Catalog Course Description
This course examines the interactions of schools, families, communities, and diverse cultures as a basis for reflecting on the social context of learning. This course meets the Idaho Social and Behavioral Ways of Knowing Outcomes. Prerequisite: ENGL 101.
IV. Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Understand how learners grow and develop, recognizing that patterns of learning and development vary individually with and across the cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical areas, and designs and implements developmentally appropriate and challenging learning experiences. - Use understanding of individual difference and diverse cultures and communities to ensure inclusive learning invironments that enable each learner to meet high standards. (Standard 2: Learning Differences)
