			- Read and draw landscape plans by hand
- Explain the importance of planning in the landscape industry.
- Produce hand graphic plans using symbols and textures common to profession.
- Identify business opportunities and management practices common to design.
- Describe the principles and elements of good design.
- Articulate reasons for aesthetic beauty or lack thereof using design principles/language.
