		Students will be instructed in methods of water conveyance, well construction, pump basics, and electric motor selection.
	 
		IV. Student Learning Outcomes
	
		Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to: 
			- Demonstrate an understanding of drilling methods, well construction, and well types.
- Apply a basic understanding of hydrology as it relates to well drilling
- Identify common pump types, including centrifugal and displacement
- Demonstrate a knowledge of pump components and pump efficiency
- Understand water conveyance, management, and delivery along with associated agencies, laws, and legislation.
