III. Catalog Course Description

This course awards one credit hour to students who actively participate in intercollegiate competitive soccer during the season. Through practices, games, and team activities, students will develop their athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while representing their college in competition.

IV. Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate improvement in individual soccer skills, including shooting, dribbling, passing, and defensive techniques, through active participation in practices and games.
  • Exhibit effective teamwork and communication, contributing to the overall success of the team during intercollegiate competition.
  • Apply principles of sportsmanship and leadership, both on and off the field, by displaying respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials throughout the season.
