Residence Hall
The CSI residence hall (dormitory), Eagle Hall, is designed to support successful academic progress and positive social engagement.
In addition to the comfortable lounges spread throughout Eagle Hall for students to chat, hang out, or study, Eagle Hall also offers building-wide Wi-Fi, access to ethernet in every room, a computer lab, free printing, a kitchen, ping pong table, ice machine, and our Activity Center, where RAs (Resident Assistants) host events for residents.
Eagle Hall has five wings and two floors, resulting in ten halls, and has laundry facilities available throughout the building. Restrooms are single occupancy, meaning each restroom is a self-contained room with a shower, sink, and toilet. Most rooms are designed for double occupancy, and each student is provided with a desk, chair, bed with twin XL mattress, and wardrobe/dresser. Students provide their own linens, blankets, pillow, towels, and other items adding that add comfort and a home-like feel to their room and are welcome to bring a dorm-sized refrigerator and/or microwave if they wish.
The required meal plans offer nutritious choices for each meal, and our chefs are both experienced and skilled at working with anyone who has dietary restrictions and/or preferences. For information regarding prices for room and board, contact the Eagle Hall Housing Office at (208) 732-6575 or online at csi.edu/housing.
Residing in campus housing is a privilege extended to students by the college. The continuation of this privilege is dependent on reasonable and satisfactory personal conduct, maintaining a minimum course load of 12 credits while working towards a degree, attending classes, remaining in good financial standing, and proper care of the room to which the student is assigned. Compliance with all state, local, and college regulations is required of all students. These regulations are outlined in the Student Code of Conduct and the Residence Hall Guidebook.
Payment for room and board fees are due the second Friday of each semester. Students may also sign a Tuition Loan Agreement (TLA) to split their charges into 3 monthly payments (see enrollment services or the business office for details). Cancellation of the lease during the lease period may result in a $500 lease buyout fee, forfeiture of the security deposit, and forfeiture housing costs (refunds may not be given for contract payments). When moving out, additional fees may be assessed if one does not check out with an Eagle Hall staff member and/or clean the room thoroughly.
