This course examines nursing care of women throughout the lifespan, with emphasis on maternal-newborn populations. Family-centered care and interprofessional collaboration are emphasized to promote healthy outcomes for women and infants.

  • Provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered care for women across the lifespan, including reproductive, prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
