This course provides a study of developmentally appropriate curriculum and education of infants and toddlers in group settings. - Identify and use a wide variety of effective strategies and tools to positively influence infants' and toddlers' development and learning.
- Use systematic observations and documentation strategies in order to assess a child's development.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the characteristics and needs of the infant and toddler.
- Identify children who exhibit atypical behaviors and modify activities in order to include all infants and toddlers.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the neurobiology of infant development through the lens of attachment.
