		Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to: 
			- Implement and utilize basic laboratory safety principles when working in a laboratory setting.   
- Identify, utilize and maintain the equipment used in a veterinary laboratory.
- Prepare samples to perform lab diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, hematology, serology and cytology.
- Identify and recognize normal/abnormal parameters when performing diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, hematology, serology and cytology.
- Identify and recognize normal sperm cells.
- Identify common tissues microscopically.
- Complete AVMA essential skills: LP1-LP26, LP61-LP65, N34 A, N77 A-B, N93, N94, EXO21.
